Drug dealer gets married immediately after hearing charges

For Franklin Barndt, standing in front of a judge in handcuffs, wearing a jumpsuit and hearing drug charges to his name wasn't enough to stop him from finally marrying his longtime girlfriend Takesha Piazza.

Barndt was arrested on drug charges after he was found with around 20 grams of crack in his stylish Northampton County apartment.

When he went before a judge on the charges, he had his defense attorney arrange a quickie wedding to be held in conjunction with the trial.

"I am extremely happy. It turned out to be the best day of my life. I can't wait for him to come home," Piazza is reported to have said.

Viagra can lead to an increased risk of STIs

According to a new Business Week article, people using products such as Viagra and Cialis show triple the chance of incurring issues involving sexually transmitted infections.

Men taking the drugs, in a study conducted by the Annals of Internal Medicine, were found to have triple the number of STIs than men who continued without any drugs for sexual potency.
“Younger people have more sex partners than older folks,” said Jena, a medical resident in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, in a June 29 telephone interview. “But per sexual encounter, the actual safeness of the sex is probably lower among older folks in the sense that they don’t use condoms,” he said.
So, basically - you're saying that older people like do 'do it raw' (in the 'with it' jargon). Gross!

You know the iPad is popular when people start trading it for marijuana

Steve Jobs and the people at Apple can surely pat themselves on the back upon the runaway success of the first ever iPad, a revolutionary tablet computing device.

Not least because people are now using it as a currency to buy and sell pot.

Two young go-getters who longed for such a sleek device decided to do what any other economically minded young entrepreneurs would do - they decided to get an iPad on Craigslist by offering to pay with an iPod touch and - somewhat less normally - a quarter-ounce of marijuana.

Jacob Walker and his partner in crime, Joseph Velarte, both the tender age of 20, posted a listing on the free classified ads site that read:
i am willing to trade my 32 gb ipod touch 3rd generation and a quarter of DANK. blue dream straight outta cali. the ipod is in PERFECT condition. not one scratch it has been in the case the whole time and has never had screen cover removed!!!! let me know!!!
To sweeten the deal, the two posted a picture of the winning bidder's prize [seen below].

How could such a wonderful deal, and such a terrific bargain ever go wrong? Well, the police met up with the pair by contacting them through the ad. I'm sure they'll be alright, though - I hear that there's quite a market for that kind of stuff where they're going.
