UPDATE: Bro' Town creator resigns over racist, homophobic remarks

Having reported earlier on the racist and homophobic remarks of the Bro Town creator, we can now report that David Fane has handed in his letter of resignation, and will be leaving TV3 due to a public relations blow out following the statements.

Although Fane earlier apologized about what he said, noting that he was intoxicated at the time, that didn't stop the media shockwave following the remarks, which turned into a full-on controversy.

Fane was part of the new TV3 comedy show RhadiRhadiRah and also hosted a breakfast show on the radio station Flava, which is owned by TV3's parent company MediaWorks.
