Old bigot woman demands $250,000 from church that started performing gay marriage ceremonies

Every now and then, writes Bryan Safi, a regular American comes along that has the good fight to keep our nation's moral fibre in tact. Perhaps one American who personifies the United States and Western ethos of peace, acceptance and multi-ethnic tolerance is Yvonne Moore - a Washington D.C. woman who is suing her church because they started performing gay marriages.

Moore is asking her church for an estimated $250,000 that she donated to the organization over the past 37 years that she has been in attendance within the church's regular congregation. [Via @briansafi]
