High profile lawyer Chris Comeskey has pleaded guilty to disgraceful conduct, after an equally public investigation was launched into his behavior with regard to billing out his junior staff at senior rates, according to a major New Zealand newspaper company.
Comeskey is the high-profile lawyer who represented the father of the girl nicknamed 'Pumpkin' by the press - who was abandoned at a Melbourne train station.
He faced nine charges relating to several thousand dollars of incorrect billing, incurred by the Legal Services Agency.
Comeskey has also been charged with making 'disparaging' comments about the judges and courts and faces penalties as severe as being suspended or struck off.
This is a developing story.
