The weird nature of this story was a little too much for Britain's trashy tabloid, The Sun, who put it on their front page having discovered that the black family pictured on the left have produced white offspring.
Genetics experts, the paper reports, were shocked to find that the baby - who is white - is not an albino.
The parents simply sat there, they continue, and just stared at their newborn child.
The father was so surprised, he even joked "is this mine", after seeing the child. "Actually", he is quoted to have said, "the first thing I did was look at her and say 'what the flip?'"
Pale genes, it is reported, could have skipped a couple of generations before cropping up again - although the true cause of the baby's appearance is unknown. [The Sun]
