$20 million spent on stimulus package road sign promotion

While some call it good publicity, others are crying out while calling it wasteful and frivolous government spending.

What has been estimated to be around $20 million has been spent erecting roadsigns around the country that promote the stimulus package approved by the Obama administration.

These signs merely point out that a particular project has been funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, with the subtitle "Putting America to Work".

A single sign, according to ABC News, costs the government around $10,000 to install - that's a single sign.
